My Faith Confession

Reading a Book

The church is to "hold fast the form of sound words” (2 Tim. 1:13), to "contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered to the saints” (Jude 3), and to "stand fast with one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel” (Phil. 1:27).

In walking out this task, a confession is a useful tool for separating lies from the truth, and guiding believers to the integrity of Bible doctrine.

My struggle is not my identity; my identity is in Christ

justified, redeemed, forgiven, accepted, included,

I am the righteousness of God IN CHRIST, made new by the blood of Jesus.

Whoever is born of God overcomes the world.

I am an overcomer.

I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony.

I am not stuck in my life; I am daily being transformed as I renew my mind through the word of God.

I will experience the goodness of God in the land of the living.

I am

moving forward!

I am

growing in faith!

I am

making better decisions.

I am committed to walking the steps and living a principled life.

I can

I can

I can

Do all things

Not in my own strength

But through  Christ

The only source of true strength

Thank you, Lord, for satisfying the longing of my soul.

I will lay aside

Every weight,

Every  burdens,

Every care,

Any relationship,

And every sin

That distracts me

From running my race

And keeping my focus on Jesus.

Because God is at work in my life

I am

You are

We are

Celebrating our recovery in Jesus’ name
